    Responsibilites:

    • Provide technical consulting services for Industrial Networking assessments and projects
    • Support pre-Sales in identifying, scoping, and pricing Industrial Networking opportunities
    • Perform post sales activities conducive to building a networking practice
    • Architect, design, and execute project plans for network system builds, migrations, integrations, and customization while accounting for risk and forecasting technical issues
    • Develop and execute detailed implementation plans to ensure smooth and effective migrations to new technology and new versions of existing technology
    • Work with customers displaying technical skills and integrity to work with the customer to design solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations
    • Provide excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with architecting, designing, and implementing routed and switched industrial (OT) networks including:

    o Routing and switching at the core, distribution and access layers

    o Resiliency and redundancy design and configuration

    o Plant floor control system networks

    o Firewalls and ACL configuration

    o Security best practices including VPN and remote access

    o Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, IOS and Cisco DNA

    o VLAN segregation and DMZ design including IP schemas

    o Wireless Networks and technologies

    • Experience configuring, installing, upgrading, testing, and troubleshooting small to large-scale network environments
    • Experience analyzing and assessing existing networks in terms of industry best practices with regard to converged networks, security, redundancy and scalability
    • Experience with network analyzers and network software tools
    • Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, load balancing, and network security solutions to include identifying routes and access rules
    • Experience with virtualization platforms and hypervisors
    • Excellent documentation and assessment skills including proficiency within MS Visio and CAD tools
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
    • Windows server and Active Directory experience a plus
    • Plant floor and manufacturing experience a plus
    • Understanding of control networks and technologies a plus
    • Industry Certifications a plus especially Cisco
    • Experience with threat assessment tools
    • Experience working with Contractors and Data / Telecom vendors (Fiber and cabling) a plus
    • This position will be a customer facing position so candidates must have the communication skills, technical skills, and integrity to work with the customer to design solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations. Comfort in presenting those solutions is a must.
    • Ability to travel to various customers sites primarily domestically is required but some international travel may be required as well. Travel ranges in duration and frequency but typically around 25 to 30% travel per year would be expected, however, increased amounts of travel can be experienced at times based on opportunity and customer demands.
