This Senior Design Engineer position is responsible for engineering electrical control projects from design to commissioning. Primarily in the municipal water and wastewater industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics for control panels, motor control centers, power distribution panels, and assorted wiring diagrams.
• Create a Bill of Materials for each project.
• Develop Control Narratives for the intended function of the project.
• Read and follow project plans and specifications.
• Support the control panel shop during the manufacturing process with design-related questions.
• Manage all project documentation per company standards and project-specific requirements.
• Communicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases of the projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in a project engineer role (or similar) including design, implementation, and project closeout.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a 2-year Associate's degree in an Automation-related field. (Preferred but not required.)
• Proficiency with electrical CAD Software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of co-workers, management, and clients.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with project management, covering initial concept/proposal, design, implementation, and closeout.
