Founded over 300 years ago, their corrugated board machines proudly produce a third of the world’s corrugated board production. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and polishing operations for corrugating rolls.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform gudgeon removal, cleaning, and installation in addition to removal and replacement of bolts on all rolls
    • Repair and assemble carts and rolls with all associated hardware and plumbing. This includes painting, bushing replacement, part refurbishment, and any additional procedures required to refurbish the cartridge
    • Perform inventory, assessment cleaning, and documentation of incoming carts
    • Install bearings and races on outbound rolls per sales order requirements
    • Wrap and pack rolls in for shipment and verify all parts are accounted for
    • Follow all safety procedures and instructions
    • Maintain and clean work area and machinery including removal of waste, sweeping, mopping, and wiping machines
    • Ensure tools are used properly, maintained, accounted for, and returned to proper storage place after use
    • Complete all paper and electronic processing documentation including routings, and labor tracking documentation.
    • Inspections of chains, slings, and hoists for serviceability
    • Safely operate a forklift, perform pre-use inspection, understand operating limits
    • Safely operate oxy-acetylene torch as well as power and hand tools

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years experience in production or manufacturing environment
    • Previous experience using hand tools and power tools in the production of heavy industrial equipment
    • Flexibility to work night shift and overtime
    • Must be able to wear a respirator when required, and pass a respirator qualification

If the vaccine shot is a two-part series, the second shot must be completed within 30 days of employment. Proof of vaccination is required.
