We are seeking a hardworking, detail oriented individual to fill the role of Shop Assistant/Shuttle Driver. We are an independent Automotive Repair Facility. Applicants will need to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

This is a Part-Time Position, that could be a Full-Time Position.

Your responsibilities include:

• All shop upkeep – cleaning floors, bathrooms, organizing and small upkeep projects

• Shuttling customers

• Running errands (i.e. picking up and delivering parts to local vendors)

• Assisting with other tasks as needed

• Assisting the technicians as needed

An ideal candidate would be an individual who is familiar with the automotive industry and who would like to be a future technician.

Experience in the auto repair industry, general knowledge of tools and equipment is preferred.

Will be exposed to general automotive repair noises, debris and chemicals commonly found in auto repair.

Occasional lifting up to 75lbs; Standing/Walking/Stooping/Kneeling during work hours

Must be able to drive a standard shift vehicle and be able to operate large vehicles (i.e. motorhome, bread truck)

Must be able to follow directions, access and read maps

Computer entry skills, excel, word are a plus

Our goal is taking care of customer’s needs; you must be able to handle yourself well with customers as you will be interacting with them

Working well without direct supervision and having initiative is a must
