We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect the hotel's bottom line by focusing on profitability. You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance and at least three years of management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Support the daily accounting operations with the creation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets • Review the daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability, reconcile general ledger accounts, review any account discrepancies, and make corrections • Manage all phases of accounts payable invoicing, as well as manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable • Oversee the daily accounting operations by developing monthly projections and yearly budgets • Recommend changes that will enhance profitability by reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and expense accounts, and ensuring their accuracy • Undertake regular payroll audits and distribute paychecks to all employees • Make and clean schedules monthly to ensure all funds are accounted for in all areas of the business Qualifications: • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred • High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred • Dealer Track Experience • Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Receipt tracking, bookkeeping, and reporting in our Car Management System - including reconciling all cash deposits and sales transactions in the Sales Google Sheet • AP/AR - administrative email monitoring - Including Flooring Line reconciling (NG) • Manage money & payments - Bank transfers, etc. Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000
