    Position Summary: The Assistant Manager will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice, processing orders, answering busy telephones, and ensuring a smooth sales experience. Additional job duties will consist of writing and presenting repair orders, ordering parts, ensuring the shop is clean, and that all policy and procedures are being followed at all times. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet and assist customers in-person, over the phone, and via email.

    Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive parts and products.

    Process orders, returns, and special requests efficiently and accurately.

    Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area.

    Collaborate with the warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

    Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.

    Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues quickly and professionally.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training or certifications a plus.

    Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related automotive role.

    Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

    Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
