Avon Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Body Repairer to join our growing team. The new ownership team is ramping up for huge growth ahead making this a great opportunity. We are searching for a combination body man, teammate capable of handling light duty body work to support our growing Used Car operations and light body work for service customers. Minimal Warranty and Insurance work - no weekends!

Responsibilities:

Repair and refinish vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and sanding.

Assess damage and prepare repair estimates in collaboration with estimators.

Use appropriate tools and materials (welders, sanders, etc.).

Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail in all repairs.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.

Stay up to date with industry best practices and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

2+ years of experience in automotive body repair and refinishing.

Strong knowledge of body shop tools and techniques.

I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
