Automotive Customer Service & Business Support Specialist
Customer Service & Business Support Specialist
Wizard Cooling Inc. – West Falls, NY Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday
Wizard Cooling is a growing American manufacturer of high-performance aluminum cooling systems for classic, performance, custom, and specialty vehicles.
We are looking for a Customer Service & Business Support Specialist who can become an important part of our team.
This isn't a position where you'll spend 100% of your day answering phones.
Approximately 75% of the position will focus on customer service, sales support, and helping customers find the right products. The remaining 25% is where we'd like to find out what you're especially good at.
Maybe you have experience with CAD. Maybe you're great with data, websites, social media, photography, marketing, ERP systems, or something we haven't thought of yet.
We have a growing company with plenty of areas where a talented person can make an impact.
Your Primary Role — Customer Service & Sales Support
You will be one of the primary points of contact for Wizard Cooling customers.
Responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming customer phone calls
Taking and entering customer orders
Helping customers select the correct radiator, fan, or cooling-system components
Assisting customers with navigating our website and finding products
Providing order, production, and shipping status updates
Responding to customer questions by phone and email
Looking up automotive applications, parts, and specifications
Communicating with our production and shipping teams to get customers accurate information
Helping resolve order questions and customer service issues
Maintaining accurate customer and order information
Automotive Experience Is a Big Plus
Previous customer service experience is important, but automotive knowledge can be a major advantage in this position.
We would especially like to meet candidates who have experience with:
Automotive parts
Year/Make/Model application lookups
Automotive catalogs and databases
Performance or restoration vehicles
Parts counters or automotive retail
Dealership parts departments
Aftermarket automotive companies
Reading part numbers, specifications, drawings, or technical information
You don't necessarily need to know radiators or cooling systems—we can teach you that.
Being comfortable talking about cars, understanding automotive terminology, and knowing how to research the correct part is extremely valuable.
What Else Are You Good At?
This is an important part of the position.
Customer service will make up approximately 75% of your day. For the remaining 25%, we want to identify your strengths, interests, and special skills and find ways to put them to work.
Wizard Cooling is continuing to grow, and we need help in a lot of different areas.
Your additional responsibilities could potentially include:
CAD & Product Design
CAD drawings
Product documentation
Basic design work
Drawing organization
Product development support
Data & Product Management
Cleaning and organizing product data
Maintaining automotive application information
Managing spreadsheets and databases
Improving product descriptions and specifications
Maintaining website product information
Marketing & Social Media
Creating social media content
Photographing or filming new products
Helping create Facebook and Instagram posts
Email marketing
Creating promotional materials
Helping tell the story behind new Wizard Cooling products
Website & E-Commerce
Adding and updating products
Improving website navigation
Maintaining vehicle/application data
Basic web development
SEO and product-page improvements
Identifying ways to make it easier for customers to find the correct product
ERP & Business Systems
ERP system maintenance
Product and inventory data
Process improvement
Reporting
Connecting information between sales, production, purchasing, and shipping
And we're open to other skills.
Tell us what you're good at.
If you have a skill or experience that could help a growing manufacturing company operate better, market better, sell more effectively, or better serve its customers, we want to hear about it.
Who We're Looking For
The right person is:
Friendly and professional on the phone
Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day
Patient and willing to help customers solve problems
Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
Able to research an answer rather than simply saying, "I don't know"
Interested in automobiles, manufacturing, or technical products
Comfortable working in a small-company environment where people wear multiple hats
Interested in learning new things and taking on additional responsibility
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to contribute, not simply fill a seat.
Why This Position Is Different
At a small and growing manufacturing company, your abilities don't have to fit neatly inside a job description.
If we discover that you're exceptional at CAD, we want to use that ability.
If you're great at social media, we want you involved.
If you understand databases or ERP systems, there are opportunities to improve how we operate.
If you have an eye for photography, video, marketing, websites, automation, AI tools, or something else that can help our company grow—we want to know about it.
We want to build the other 25% of this position around what you can bring to the company.

Please send us your resume along with a short introduction.
In addition to your work history, we'd especially like you to answer this question:
"Outside of customer service, what skills, interests, or experience do you have that you think could help Wizard Cooling grow?"
Don't limit your answer to the areas listed in this posting. We want to know what you're good at.
