Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for a wide variety of accounting and office duties including but not limited to:
Accounts Receivable functions, including reconciling schedules, processing invoices and account statements, and collecting receivables
Accounts Payable functions, including reconciling invoices, processing & posting payments, and proper documentation for filing and audit purposes
Asset Management and Reconciliation, including assisting with vehicle & parts inventory
Cross-training with other accounting department positions for coverage and future responsibility adjustments as needed
Other miscellaneous job duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: Must work well under pressure, be action and results-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to multitask. Must have distinguishing behavior while putting the customer first, working well with others, leading courageously, developing continuously, and achieving results. Management and leadership skills and training is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience in an automotive finance department is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of deal structure, banking programs, dealership contracts & compliance. Working knowledge of automotive DMS systems, automotive inventory management software, and automotive finance applications such as Dealertrack or RouteOne. Additional experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel and possessing the ability to navigate through multiple windows and multiple software systems & 10-key experience is preferred.
