Responsibilities: • Diagnose and Repair Issues : Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues in diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately determine necessary repairs • Overhaul and Rebuild Engines : Disassemble, repair, and reassemble diesel engines and components, such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and cooling systems, to restore vehicles to full operational condition • Perform Routine Maintenance : Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal performance and longevity Qualifications: • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • 3+ years experience working on many diesel vehicles (required) Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 yearly + starting bonus
