Responsibilities: • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Qualifications: • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • Possess a high school diploma or GED • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary Certifications for diagnosing and repairing complex engine performance, fuel, electrical, and emissions issues Compensation: $40 - $65 hourly
