Job Summary
Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our W. Broad St location is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to help build, oversee, and motivate our talented team of professionals.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least three years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
Face to face with customers, understanding and addressing their vehicle concerns
Create and build work orders, including finding parts and labor times, on a computer program to sell jobs to customers
Efficiently lead and communicate with a team of technicians within multiple bays
Keep track of parts purchases from local vendors
Bill out customers, as well as keeping track of accounts receivable for location's fleet/insurance/trade accounts and daily closing paperwork
Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and dealership staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales
Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper shop management
Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
Qualifications
One or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is necessary
Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate customer and company-owned vehicles
Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success
Ability to multitask effectively
