Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in automotive repair Fixed Operations and/or Service Management
- Must have strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Exceptional attendance record with the willingness to remotely respond to rare customer issues after business hours and/or occasional weekends.
- At least 5 years of experience in aftermarket auto repair
- Willingness to learn new methods for running a shop and enhancing team performance.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage service manager/writer position
- Ability to effectively lead and manage automotive technicians
- Solid track record in automotive repair estimating and repair order generation
- Significant experience in KPI reporting (ticket averages, car count, labor, and parts reporting)
- Significant experience in retail sales/service
- Windows PC skills, including MS Office
- TekMetric or similar shop management system experience

- Exceptional Attendance Record and the ability to work remotely after hours and some weekends to assist guests as needed.
- Willingness to Learn new methods for running a shop and enhancing team performance.
- Commitment to Training: Attend all assigned training and complete them with the highest score and assure your team does it as well.
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, and set goals for automotive technicians, service advisors, and service managers
- Drive the Mandeville location above $3 million in revenue in 2026, with aspirations to be in the Top 10% Shops in the Country within 3 years.

Physical Requirements:
- Being on your feet for the majority of the workday (standing, walking, etc)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.

- Competitive Compensation: Expected earnings between $100K and $140K in 2026 based on projections, with the potential to reach $200K based on shop reputation, revenue, and net profitability.
- Flexible Scheduling: As long as the shop’s monthly goals are achieved, you are responsible for your own schedule and are not required to be present from open to close, though a minimum of 40 hours per week is required. (50 hours recommended)

- Travel: some travel for training, meetings, and conventions. Generally no more than two to three times per year scheduled months in advance.
- Compensation terms: A pay plan and bonus structure will be provided after all terms are agreed and signed.
- Reporting: GM will report to the owner and in some cases, our home office assigned peers at the owner's direction.
- Lead effectively: Attend and hold all shop meetings, establish monthly and quarterly peer group meetings
- Vision and Plan: Monthly, quarterly, and annual goals presented to peer group and results emailed respectively
- Goals: If the goals are missed in two of the previous three months, the GM is required to work open to close and possible salary reduction up to 25%
- Termination: If the targets are missed 3 consecutive months termination might occur
