    Our ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride and ownership in their work and possesses the following skills and qualities:

    Land Rover specific experience with the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair is required

    Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience in the automotive industry

    ASE Certified is a plus, but not required

    Experience with repair, diagnostic equipment, and scan tools

    Willing to work as part of a team focused on providing exemplary customer service

    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain a good working relationship with staff, customers and external contacts

    Passionate about their work, with a great attitude and willingness to learn

    Able to follow shop policies and procedures

    Hold a valid California driver's license

    Ability to work a full time Mon - Fri schedule with punctual attendance

    Shop Responsibilities

    Utilize the latest diagnostic tools/computers to scan and troubleshoot vehicles

    Troubleshoot and repair major components such as engine, transmission, emission system, and fuel system

    Perform routine maintenance services, inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently and safely

    Inspect brake system, tires, power steering system, lights to make sure they are properly functioning

    Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly

    Review and evaluate service write-up to determine if additional information is necessary and what type of diagnosis needed

    Use manuals including diagrams as necessary to complete the repair order

    Properly dispose of used parts and return unused parts to the parts counter person

    Use diagnostic procedure to identify the symptoms of the problem, the conditions under which they occur, as well as how often the symptoms occur

    Follow safety rules and regulations

    Job Type:

    Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
