Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Automotive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dealership’s administrative and accounting functions. This role is critical to ensuring smooth office workflows, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with dealership policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive office management, accounting and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise office staff including title clerk, accounts payable/receivable, and reception.
· Oversee daily accounting functions including bank deposits, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
· Ensure compliance with dealership policies, and DMV regulations.
· Maintain accurate records for 40-50 monthly vehicle sales, titles, and inventory.
· Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Handle vendor relationships and manage office supply inventory.
· Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Required Skills
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Proficiency in dealership management system Dealertrack
· Solid understanding of accounting principles and office procedures.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in automotive office management or dealership accounting.
