Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Parts Counter Associate to join the team at our busy auto parts center. If you are a mechanically-inclined automotive professional with strong management and communication skills, we want to hear from you.

As the Automotive Parts Counter Associate, you will be responsible for duties ranging from managing technician requests to tracking inventory. You will use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have in-depth knowledge of automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers (retail and internal service department) in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories

Look up parts using electronic catalogs and inventory systems

Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently

Maintain and organize the parts department’s inventory

Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, and customers

Handle phone inquiries, quotes, and special orders professionally

Support the team in achieving department goals and delivering excellent service

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Knowledge of Collision Link/ Repair Link

At least one year of experience in auto repair or auto parts sales is required

Strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills

Deep knowledge of automotive parts and industry
