Overview

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Automotive Porter to support our service department by keeping vehicles, work areas, and customer-facing spaces safe, clean, and well organized. This role plays a key part in daily service operations and directly contributes to a positive customer experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in maintaining a clean and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner and assist during vehicle drop-off and pickup

Safely move, park, and stage customer vehicles within the service lot only

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and shop walkways

Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and keeping restrooms and service areas presentable

Assist with light vehicle cleaning or touch-ups after services are completed

Transport parts, tools, and materials within the facility as needed

Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis

Support technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and general operational needs

Assist with light facility maintenance and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Ability to safely operate customer vehicles, including manual transmissions (preferred but not required)

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods

Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented

Strong teamwork skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude

Previous experience in a dealership, service, porter, or custodial role is helpful but not required
