Job Summary

Escondido Auto Tech is a busy full service, bumper to bumper, all-makes mechanical repair facility. 6500 square foot shop with 9 bays in Escondido, CA. We are looking for a qualified, self-motivated and experienced Smog Technician. We will help the right team member with certifications 3-5 years of experience with foreign cars a must!

Monday - Friday (no weekends)

We offer paid training courses through Worldpac Training Institute and ATG, Paid diagnostic, electrical, engine performance, Smog license, and update training at no charge through our BAR certified school: Furgerson's Automotive & Smog Training (FAST).

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years of experience in Foreign and Domestic auto repair

Preferable but not required

Experience with diagnostics, service, and line work

Complete inventory of hand tools

ASE Certified and/or ASE Master Technician

Alignment experience

Air Conditioning Diagnostic & Repair Experience

Diesel & Hybrid experience

Vehicle Safety System (VSS) certified

Smog Check certified
