Location: Berman Kia of Lincolnwood
Job Title: Service Advisor
Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $125,000+ annually (commission position)

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Gather customer and vehicle information
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts
• Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines
• Clearly explain completed work and associated costs
• Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion
• Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and team members to ensure a smooth workflow

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Service Advisor experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service needs and recommendations
• Proficient in computer systems and automotive service software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
• Must be willing to submit to a background screening
