    We are seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services.

    Responsibilities

    Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.

    Listen to customer concerns and accurately assess vehicle service needs.

    Prepare detailed repair orders, service recommendations, and cost estimates.

    Explain maintenance requirements, repair procedures, costs, and timelines to customers.

    Communicate repair needs and technician recommendations clearly and effectively.

    Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.

    Monitor repair progress and provide regular status updates to customers.

    Schedule service appointments and manage workflow efficiently.

    Verify completed repairs and ensure all work orders are accurate before vehicle delivery.

    Review completed services with customers and explain invoices.

    Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

    Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and repair documentation.

    Promote preventative maintenance services and recommend additional services that benefit the customer and vehicle.

    Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service throughout the repair process.

    Follow dealership/shop policies, procedures, and safety standards.

    Assist with warranty claims and service-related administrative tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Previous experience in automotive customer service, service advising, or a related field preferred.

    Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair terminology.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

    Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency with computer systems and service management software is a plus.
