    Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a fast-paced, high-performing repair facility. This role is ideal for someone who understands that great service advising is more than customer hospitality. It requires strong communication, solid automotive knowledge, sales ability, follow-through, and a genuine sense of ownership.

    Our ideal candidate knows how to build trust with customers while also identifying legitimate service opportunities, presenting recommendations clearly, and helping drive repair order value through strong process and communication.

    Key Responsibilities

    Greet customers professionally and document vehicle concerns accurately

    Review vehicle history, declined work, and maintenance needs

    Present repair and maintenance recommendations in a clear, confident, and professional manner

    Build value for needed services and help customers make informed decisions

    Follow up on pending work, declined work, and deferred maintenance opportunities

    Communicate effectively with internal teams to support workflow and customer experience

    Close repair orders accurately and maintain a high standard of documentation and follow-through

    Qualifications & Skills

    Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required

    Strong communication and customer relationship skills

    Ability to present and sell automotive repair and maintenance recommendations

    Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and common service needs

    Ability to review vehicle history and identify service opportunities proactively

    Strong organizational skills, accountability, and professionalism

    Comfortable working in a process-driven, performance-based environment

    Computer and technology savvy, with the ability to learn and work efficiently within shop management systems

    Experience with Tekmetric is a plus
