The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for consulting with customers about their vehicle's repair and maintenance needs. They provide pricing estimates and communicate with the technicians to ensure correct repair and maintenance services are performed. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a working knowledge of automotive parts and services.
Responsibilities:
Consult with customers about their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs
Provide customers with accurate pricing estimates for services
Ensure that required repair and maintenance services are performed correctly and on time
Communicate with technicians to ensure they understand repair needs and timelines
Communicate with customers about repair progress, and obtain authorization for additional services if necessary
Maintain customer relations by answering questions and providing feedback
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in customer service and/or automotive service industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer and phone skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
