Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software and their electrical systems. Responsibilities: • Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, using charts, and more for all of our dealerships • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance • Accurately complete repair orders and documentation • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members • Uphold Critz GMC’s high standards for quality and customer satisfaction Join a dealership that values your expertise and supports your professional growth. Qualifications: • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • High school diploma or GED is required Compensation: $70,000 + yearly
