Responsibilities: • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Qualifications: • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • GED or high school diploma is mandatory Compensation: $40,000 - $83,200
