About the Role:

Hummels Automotive LLC in Saint George, UT is looking for a skilled Flat Rate Technician to join our growing team! If you're a motivated automotive professional who takes pride in quality work and efficiency, this is your opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on a variety of vehicle makes and models

Complete work orders accurately and efficiently to maximize flat rate productivity

Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors

Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical repairs

Follow all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve vehicle issues

Meet or exceed flat rate hour goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Requirements:

Proven experience as an automotive technician in a flat rate environment

ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain

Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills across multiple vehicle systems

Must provide own set of professional hand tools

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
