POSITION SUMMARY

As an Automotive Service Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance activities on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and trailers in an accurate and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles with efficiency as outlined on the repair order.

Diagnosing problems described and making the correct necessary repair(s).

Road Test vehicles to diagnose and assure repairs have been made correctly.

Documenting work performed legibly on the repair order.

Communicate results of diagnosis and multi-point inspection with your Service Advisor so that customers can be informed and make decisions regarding service needed.

Execute warranty repairs as prescribed by the manufacturer.

Keeping work area clean and safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

ASE Certification(s) preferred

Valid drivers license without restrictions

Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed

Reliable transportation to work

Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials

Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery

Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions

Complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations

Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
