    Bemidji Chrysler Center is looking for a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing vehicle concerns, completing quality repairs, and working in a busy dealership environment with a supportive team.

    We are looking for a technician who takes pride in doing the job right, communicates well with others, and wants to build a long-term career in automotive service. Experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or dealership technician is preferred, but we are willing to talk with motivated candidates who have strong mechanical ability and a great attitude.

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns
    • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections according to dealership and factory standards
    • Use diagnostic tools, service equipment, and repair information systems
    • Complete repair orders accurately and document work performed
    • Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs or maintenance
    • Communicate with service advisors, parts staff, and other technicians
    • Road test vehicles when needed to confirm repairs
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
    • Help deliver a positive experience for every customer

    Qualifications

    • Previous automotive technician, auto mechanic, or service technician experience preferred
    • Dealership experience is helpful, but not required
    • Strong diagnostic and repair skills preferred
    • ASE certification is a plus, but not required
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Basic computer skills
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Positive attitude and commitment to quality work
