    Our general maintenance and repair shop is looking for a new automotive technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who finds satisfaction in locating the source of a complaint and repairing it back to proper function. Our shop is a team-work environment - we pay hourly and help each other when extra hands are needed. We support our techs in further training and expanding skills, but we are looking for someone with tools and ASE certificates who can jump in and start working on day one. Responsibilities: • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications: • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • ASE certification required Compensation: $32+ hourly DOE
