    Job Summary

    As an Automotive Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining vehicle performance by delivering high-quality mechanical services and identifying both immediate and preventative maintenance needs.

    Key responsibilities include performing accurate digital vehicle inspections, documenting findings thoroughly, and clearly communicating inspection results to service advisors. Automotive Technicians are also expected to recommend appropriate maintenance services and repair options based on each vehicle’s condition and the customer’s driving needs.

    In addition, Automotive Technicians must be skilled and confident in performing routine maintenance and general repair services, including oil changes, tire repairs, tire rotations, tire replacements, brake service, and other mechanical repairs. Strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities

    Conducting visual inspections of the vehicle for signs of wear or damage

    Vehicle diagnostic and repairs

    Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries

    Using proper equipment to service fluids such as brake, coolant, differential, power steering and transmission

    Use proper equipment to service gasoline and diesel fuel systems

    Applying lubricants to various vehicle components as needed

    Complete mandatory digital vehicle inspection

    Communicate vehicle repair recommendations effectively with service advisor

    Qualifications

    Personal tools required

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    1-3 + dyears of working automotive service experience

    Technical or vocational training courses in automotive repair preferred

    Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance

    Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required

    Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

    Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling tools and performing precise tasks with hands

    Attention to Detail: Precision in inspecting and repairing vehicles and ensuring personal safety

    Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for diagnosing issues and determining the best course of action for repairs
