In this role, you will professionally diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, ensuring each job meets quality and safety standards. You’ll work alongside an experienced team in a modern facility that emphasizes training, career growth, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and approved equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electronic issues.
* Perform routine maintenance—oil changes, brake service, fluid checks—and more complex repairs according to technical specifications.
* Accurately log labor hours, parts usage, and repair details in the shop management system.
* Liaise with service advisors and customers to explain findings, estimates, and recommended repairs in clear, non-technical language.
* Adhere to factory-approved procedures, safety protocols, and shop standards to ensure consistent, high-quality workmanship.
* Complete required training and stay current with technical bulletins and new vehicle systems.
* Work closely with parts, warranty, and administrative teams to streamline repair workflows.
* Mentor apprentices or less experienced technicians as needed.
* Minimum of 3 years as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealer or specialty service environment.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities across engine, drivetrain, electrical, and HVAC systems.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
* Technical certifications (ASE, manufacturer-specific programs, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
* Dependable, with a professional appearance and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop and adapt to evolving priorities.
