Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more Qualifications: • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired Compensation: $20 - $35 hourly
