Responsibilities: • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships • Install, wire, and troubleshoot aftermarket car audio systems, amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers. • Work with advanced technologies such as integration processors, backup cameras, and vehicle security systems. • Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical systems and components. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure top-notch service quality. • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • Previous experience in car audio installation or related fields is preferred but not required. • A solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring. • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. • A valid driver’s license. Compensation: $12 - $16 hourly
