Responsibilities: • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes • Perform routine maintenance and courtesy inspections on customer vehicles • Perform general repair and performance upgrades to all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, etc. • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Communicate with managers and service advisors regarding diagnostics, inspections, and estimates for repairs Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service and repair • Must supply the tools required to perform normal automotive repair tasks • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory Compensation: $25 - $40 hourly
