Position Overview

Leverage your automotive expertise to join a dynamic reconditioning and service team, where every repair you make drives our continued success. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and recondition preowned vehicles, ensuring that each service meets the highest standards for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $20 – $40 based on Technician Level (A, B, C, Master) which is determined by years of experience and ASE certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs:

* Examine, diagnose, and recondition preowned vehicles, addressing issues related to engine performance, electrical systems, suspension, brake systems, and drivetrain components.

* Utilize diagnostic tools and technical expertise to pinpoint issues and implement effective repairs.

• Preventative Maintenance & Service:

* Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flushes, and preventive inspections to keep vehicles running at optimal performance.

* Replace worn parts and ensure all repairs adhere to the highest quality standards.

• Customer Communication & Documentation:

* Effectively communicate vehicle conditions and repair needs to service advisors and customers as necessary.

* Accurately complete repair orders and service documentation to maintain thorough records of all work performed.

• Vehicle Systems Expertise:

* Work proficiently with a variety of automotive systems, including electrical diagnostics, computer controls, brake and suspension systems, and transmission and drivetrain repairs.

* Provide technical assistance and ensure that recommended solutions meet or exceed manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* One to two years of relevant automotive repair experience or training, preferably with dealership exposure to vehicle diagnostics and reconditioning.

• Certifications & Skills:

* ASE certification is preferred but not required.

* Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to pass a drug test and background check.

* Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Technical Proficiencies:

* Demonstrated ability in diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems including engine repair, preventive maintenance, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension work.

* Experience with auto parts replacement and fluid changes.

• Automotive Focus:

* Familiarity with a range of automotive brands (such as Acura, Ford, Jeep, Toyota, Honda, and Kia) is highly desirable.
