Responsibilities: • Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs • Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes Qualifications: • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired • Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory • GED or high school diploma is mandatory Compensation: $55,000 - $83,200
