Automotive Technician Compensation and Benefits

• Pay -$18.50 to $35.00 based on experience

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• Hands-on Mechanical Skills
• Valid Driver´s license with a good driving history
• ASE Certification
• Able to pass a drug test and background check

Experience – 2+ years' experience related to diagnosing and reconditioning preowned cars at a dealership, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix vehicle problems
• Provide labor time estimates to Service Advisors
