    Job Summary

    We are looking for an Experienced Automotive Technician, self-starter, own set of tools, strong diagnostic and drivability skills, to join our successful Automotive Service Team.

    As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You will also provide guidance and training to less experienced Technicians with the goal of maximizing productivity of the team.

    Responsibilities

    Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction and make necessary repair recommendations

    Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols

    Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements

    Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes and document on the shop management system

    Perform high quality repair to promote high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

    Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear, respectful and concise manner

    Support and help train other less experience Technicians.

    Work in a safe manner and ensure vehicles are repaired safely

    Collaborate with the team to deliver car count and efficiency goals.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED is required

    Driver License in active good status is required.

    Knowledge of diagnostic and general auto repair equipment.

    Strong customer service and communications skills are required

    Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.

    An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred

    Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred

    5+ years of Experience highly preferred
