    Job Description

    SUMMARY 

    The Production Control & Logistics SAP Specialist is responsible for providing SAP training and support to the Autoneum North American PC&L Team. This role is responsible for training users on system functionality, assisting users in UAT and system configuration.

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·         Provide SAP and PC&L specific training to PC&L Team members

    ·         Train company super-users on SAP system functionality with a thorough and complete understanding of such functionality, and assist super-users in the training of all end users.

    ·         Directs and coordinates activities, projects, etc. with the PC&L Team within the ANA facilities.

    ·         Responsible to provide training, assistance, systems to meet corporate and plant KPI targets.

    ·         Drive continuous improvement projects within the ANA facilities to attain plant financial targets, while administering the highest level of quality performance.

    ·         Responsible to assist the ANA facilities to ensure a continuous flow of raw material / components are available and on-time for production to avoid impact for plant operations and the customer.

    ·         Participate in improvement initiatives of the company's SAP system related processes with Business Process Owners and Power Users

    ·         Monitor and run SAP reports for ANA to ensure SAP system integrity

    ·         Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT.

    ·         Support the technology, tools, resources, and processes required to create / maintain consistent and accurate master data throughout the ANA organization.

    ·         Recognize and improve the company's use of the ERP System, using best practice

    ·         Advice SAP ERP Team(s) on decisions, leading to common/compatible solutions

    ·         Work with SAP and IT resources to advise and ensure the technical solutions will meet functional requirements for the company

    ·         Ensure compliance with all related TS/IAF16949, MMOG/LE, and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.

    ·         Identify and develop recommendations for standardization in SAP and SOPs

    ·         Prepare training materials and conduct continuous improvement training as appropriate

    ·         Perform UAT Testing as required

    ·         Create, verify, implement and sustain new processes while enhancing existing ones.

    ·         Adhere to and support APS (Autoneum Production Systems) activity within the ANA facilities.

    ·         Provide Corporate advanced planning to support engineering changes, launch, start-up and build-out activities.

    ·         Ensure SAP data management and master data is accurate and is being utilized for full functionality within PC&L.

    • Provide support and develop systems to support the PC&L and plant teams in all aspects of PC & L.

      • I. e. Shipping, receiving, vendor scheduling, vendor EDI, Logistics, customer interface, production scheduling, MRP / MPS, MMOG, CTPAT, PFEP (Plan For Every Part), etc.
    • Act as back-up for the Corporate PC&L team members as required.

    • Act as liaison between PC&L Teams, Corporate, suppliers and customers as required.

    • Represent the Corporate PC&L team in launch and change meetings; engage appropriate team members, departments to support and resolve task, issues, etc.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Finance knowledge is desired
    • Tier I Automotive Supplier required
    • Strong functional SAP Power User and or expert required
    • Process Mapping / Value Stream Design
    • Must be able to work independently
    • OEM Launch experience preferred
    • APICS Certification preferred

    ·         Strong leadership, planning, negotiating and problem-solving skills

    ·         Manager experience a plus

     

    KEY COMPETENCIES

    ·         Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, corporate and ANA plant teams

    ·         Ability to train PC&L team in SAP, identify system integrity issues and resolve.

    ·         Ability to write/create reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

    ·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups (managers, employees, suppliers and customers).

    ·         Strong math skills are required

    ·         Strong financial background and presentation skills

    ·         Must be able to analyze problems logically and develop plans for resolution

    ·         Must be able to prioritize tasks and be organized in approach to planning

    ·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

    ·         Ability to interpret instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

    ·         Strong analytical problem solving skills to determine root cause of the issues

    ·         Proposes and oversees implementation of corrective actions

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    • Proficient in MS Office Application (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and Outlook.

    ·         Strong PC software and technical skills.

    ·         MES knowledge

    ·         SAP POWER USER REQUIRED (SPECIFICALLY IN SUPPLY CHAIN, PRODUCTION CONTROL, WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT MRP / MPS, REM, LOGISTICS, CUSTOMER / SUPPLIER APPLICATIONS, ETC.).

     

    SAFETY AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    ·         All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures

    ·         Wear PPE as required in designated areas and as outlined in the ANA facilities

    ·         Lifting of 35 lbs. on occasion may be required.

    ·         Standing for periods of time may be required.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    ·   This position works under pressure of deadlines with interruptions occurring regularly.

    ·   Position frequently requires more than 40 hours per week.

    ·   TRAVEL IS REQUIRED (UP TO 30-50% OF THE TIME). DEPENDENT ON BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS.
