Job Description
AUTONOMOUS MEDICAL DEVICES INCORPORATED (AMDI) is a fast-paced medical diagnostics company working on cutting-edge, point-of-care testing modalities. The IT Support Specialist will be based at the newly refurbished 110,000 square foot corporate offices and manufacturing facility based in Santa Ana, CA (fully opening in Summer 2022). Until then, the employee will be based at one of our temporary satellite offices in the local Orange County area.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to team members. The individual will interact with team members by phone, in-person, email, and by messages, to resolve their computer problems related to software and hardware issues to help team members get back up and running smoothly.
Will provide technical assistance and support relating to team member technology issues including laptops, desktops, phones, A/V equipment, copiers, and printers. This position will work closely with AMDI IT Vendor to support the overall organization’s Information Technology structure and support.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work requires to be indoors working at a computer station for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying items in a Manufacturing environment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb.

AMDI’s mission is to develop point of care and data distribution technologies that enable delivery of autonomous, personalized health information to patients and doctors at scale. The first product to be produced will provide a qualitative serological profile of data that can be analyzed and used to assess the person’s immunological response to COVID-19. As the virus changes and follow-up studies are designed, our data will be critical to those that are driving the studies, vaccines, and public health measures.
