GENERAL MANAGER - Cleveland Airport Terminal & Equipment Consortium

As the General Manager, you will oversee our Cleveland Terminal & Equipment Consortium (CTEC) which currently includes 9 carriers: 7 commercial airlines and 2 package/freight carriers at Cleveland's Hopkins International Airport (CLE). You should expect the consortium membership to grow in the next year, adding additional airlines and package/freight carriers.
What you'll work on:
AvAirPros Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the aeronautical equipment essential to the consortium members. The equipment includes the critically important terminal baggage handling system (BHS). In addition to oversight of the maintenance and operation of BHS, you will be responsible for the management of other important CTEC operations, ex. Twelve Common Use Passenger Boarding Bridges and the Glycol (deicing fluid) Recovery service contract. The expectation is as General Manager, you will expand our portfolio to include other terminal services and equipment. Experience working in commercial aviation is required...please and thank you.
Speaking on please...please be able to:
Represent the interests of the CTEC membership in all business-related matters
Ensure compliance of governance documents, including the M&O Agreement with CLE Airport, Consortium Agreement, Member Agreement, Equipment Access Agreement in managing the of day-to-day affairs of CTEC Oversee and administer CTEC service partner agreements Oversee, monitor and advise the CTEC membership on financial matters, including expenses, billings, financial agreements, record keeping and management of accounts
Supervise the development of budgets and contracts for the operation and maintenance of equipment, facilities and other services
Supervise the preparation of management plans, operation manuals, quality assurance and control programs, recycling programs, cost containment/mitigation programs and other managerial functions
Oversee all corporate functions related to CTEC, including the preparation of corporate resolutions, annual and special meetings of the CTEC Board of Directors
Serve as a liaison between CTEC membership and the CLE Airport Authority, Government Agencies, airline community and other organizations or individuals as necessary
Interact with external stakeholders, such as legal counsel, accounting/auditing personnel and others engaged by the CTEC membership
In addition to all the above, you possess:
A broad understanding and knowledge of airline and airport operations, financing, and aviation statutory/regulatory requirements
Solid, self-driven, results-oriented mindset with strong team leadership skills
Demonstrated track record of hiring, training, and developing skilled employees
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as engaging presentation skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills that allow you to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities, and to interact successfully with individuals at all levels within the organization
The desire to get things done, even if it means an occasional night or weekend stint
How you build the foundation:
BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Management or comparable degree
10+ years of airline or airport industry experience in a relevant position
