    PROJECT MANAGER AVIATION

    Position Overview

    This is an exciting and challenging position working in aviation, dealing directly with both the airport operator and the airlines. Must have experience working in commercial aviation.

    We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Denver to assist with critical airline projects at Denver International Airport (DEN). This position will participate in all aspects of airline facility development projects.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Serve as an Airline Representative assisting in the coordination and successful completion of aviation facility improvement projects

    Improvement projects take place in a dynamic environment - airline operations continue throughout the project - so experience with phasing is critical to minimize disruption

    Work closely with Airline partners to develop, modify, and refine projects to better suit the needs of airlines

    Review and support the construction and development work plans, providing thoughtful and value-added comments for all projects

    Review and provide input on all design submittals, including current construction documents

    Assist project teams with constant communication of logistics plans, phasing plans and construction activities

    Develop and evaluate ways to mitigate construction impact in airline operations; work closely with Airline partners and Airport staff to creatively minimize negative project impact on operations

    Proactively resolve issues quickly as they arise

    Review program schedules against construction progress

    Coordinate and participate in required Project Coordination Meetings (OAC, Design Meetings, etc.)

    Ensure the successful transition from construction to operations including detailed coordination and planning with multiple stakeholders within all Airlines involved

    Develop strong working relationships with Airport & Airline employees

    Skills and Experience

    5 years’ relevant experience with either a commercial airport or airline

    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Bluebeam, CAAD and Publisher

    Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

    Self-directed, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.

    Attentive to detail, highly organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and produce project deliverables

    Skilled at building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders

    Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

    Ability to prioritize workload and deliverables

    Understanding of the aviation industry

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree; Project Management preferred

    Must be able to successfully pass a background check conducted by the Airport Authority to receive Security and Customs clearance
