Company Overview
Help Build Airports. If you know what makes an airport tick...we want to talk with you.
You may not know us but we've been quietly helping clients in the commercial aviation business for 30 years. AvAirPros is a privately-held, employee-owned consulting and services firm and we have an interesting, exciting, and challenging opportunity to join our Atlanta team working on a range of modernization projects at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL).
What you'll be doing
You'll be a member of the Program Management Office team supporting airline facility development projects and will work closely with senior project managers and on program management activities at various terminals at the airport keeping the projects on time and on budget.
The Financial Controls Manager plays a critical role assisting with accounting services, detailed financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting functions for a variety of our aviation clients. You need a strong command of Microsoft Excel, the ability to multi-task and gather data from various sources to understand, process, and assemble the information into meaningful analysis. Project deadlines occur regularly and are client driven. You'll be expected to prepare recurrent reports for the clients, and other project deliverables. Travel to other project locations on the East Coast happens on a frequent basis.
You'll operate with significant independence and minimal supervision but have plenty of exposure to senior management to review progress and address issues. You can expect to work in office settings, on construction sites, and throughout bustling terminals. Experience working in commercial aviation required...please and thank you.
