Position Description:

We are looking to fill the internship position for the mobile wallet project. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work on one of the highest profile user facing component of the Avalanche Network. Even more, this position opens up opportunities to learn more about the blockchain industry with first hand experience under industry leaders. 

This is a part-time position where the individuals can work out of either the New York City office in Williamsburg or the office based in Ithaca on Cornell campus.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and help lead in the development and direction of the mobile wallet
• Learn more about other wallets to understand the design and needs of the user
• Set objectives and a timeline for the project and maintain constant communication with key team members
• Work hours will be at least 10 hours and up to 20 hours per week

Pre-requisites:

• Contributed to at least one live application 
• Programming experience in Java, Objective-C, or C++
• Experience in mobile application development
• Knowledge of UI frameworks (iOS) and reactive touch based UI
• Previous UI/UX experience in mobile application development
• Capable of proper key management to ensure secure API calls
