    MISSION / SUMMARY: 

     

    The person in this position works closely with the production, capacity and maintenance teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven company. This person interacts directly with leadership team to make recommendations on how to get the result the plant is looking for. They prepare and facilitate projects to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Additionally, this person works closely with the internal production staff, answering questions and monitoring projects as they go through our processes.

     

     

    JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

     

    • Strong verbal & written communication skills
    • Previous project planning experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must be a Team Player and work well with others

     

    HELPFUL JOB SKILLS:

    • Previous printing or graphics experience
    • Microsoft Project Planner
    • Previous customer service experience in a print production environment including:
      • Scheduling jobs
      • Coordination of projects from beginning to end

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years experience in maintenance or planning
    • 3+ years experience maintenance planning experienced preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

     

    EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

    • Technical degree or related experience

     

    SKILLS: Skills include but not limited to the following.

    • Effective written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Software, Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred
    • SAP Business Software Knowledge preferred
    • The incumbent must utilize teamwork skills to ensure safe and efficient operations
    • Strong verbal & written communication skills
    • Excellent telephone skills

     

    SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

    • General schedule is M-F assignment; however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
    • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Sitting or standing for extended periods up to 8-hours.
    • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
    • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices up to 8-hours a day.
    • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
