    Field Engineers are responsible for the implementation and support of automation and process control (APC) systems including new installations and demand service. Activities are generally performed on-site at customer facilities. Ideal candidates have strong detail skills and solid time management abilities that allow them to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks throughout the day.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED and an Associate Degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electro Mechanical Technology, EET
    • EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7 years of related experience

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists project engineers with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) software development.
    • Performs project controls engineering responsibilities on projects.
    • Assists with in-house control panel check-out activities.
    • Provides technical guidance to field construction personnel to ensure that construction activities comply with industry standards and project requirements.
    • Collaborates with owners and subcontractors to perform project check-out and start-up activities assuring the completed project meets performance requirements.
    • Provides effective customer training as needed.
    • Up to 35-50% travel may be required.
