    POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling of various projects.

     

    TYPICAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build and Monitor project contract schedules
    • Identify and monitor program milestones and interdependencies
    • Analyzes project plans, schedule updates and delays
    • Tracks the status of critical activities impacting the project and provide alerts on events impacting the project
    • Identify the critical path and proactively suggest alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
    • Develop strategies to avoid, minimize, or efficiently negotiate claims
    • Provide technical support in claims litigation
    • Write and prepare technical reports

    Required Skills

    • Proficient with Oracle Primavera Project Management 6.0
    • Proficient in MS Office suite including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
    • Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings

    Required Experience

    • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical field preferred
    • Professional certification(s) from AACE, CMAA, or PMI, such as PSP, CCM or PMP preferred
    • Knowledge of contract procedures and principles required
    • Knowledge of Business Analytics applications like PowerBI and Tableau preferred

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
