JOB SUMMARY:
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff by utilizing standardized cleaning techniques, disinfectants and specially designed written work routines.
- Limited protected health information access
- All Duties require PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) and is must be worn.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Perform standardized sanitizing and cleaning utilizing the proper sanitizing /cleaning agent of Ancillary, Patient , Public, Office and other areas designated by assigned written schedule
- Thoroughly Sanitize Rest Room Facilities, Furniture, Ledges, Handles, Doors, Equipment of all types, etc.
- Replenish supplies in patient and public areas
- Perform floor refinishing and carpet cleaning as assigned.
- Perform project cleaning of walls, lights, vents, windows as assigned.
- Perform Waste removal of Hospital Grounds and Police grounds for trash removal
- Perform removal of Non regulated waste, Bio Hazardous waste and Pharmaceutical Waste as assigned
- Perform duties of Line room and linen distribution
- Perform washing/drying of assigned items
- Ensure the safety of others while performing Job Tasks
- Understand and Comply with written and oral instructions
- Performs work with Professional Demeanor
- Accepts Additional duties as change of work schedule, training of others, assisting of others, etc…
- Follows and performs departmental programs on/for customer service
