ENGINEER CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | +----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | ---+ | | | SUMMARY: | | | | | | | | | | | | The Engineer Construction Manager (CM) shall read, interpret, and | | | | | | decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, | | | | | | blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.), participate in design reviews | | , | | | | and ensure that all construction is performed in accordance with the | | | | | | construction documents.  Construction managers shall review constructi | | on | | | | sites daily, document the reviews, and file the documentation. The | | | | | | qualified candidate will work with a team of government and contractor | | | | | | engineers, designers and surveyors to ensure customer satisfaction and | | | | | | successful project completion. Ensures safety and quality of services | | | | | | provided | | | | | +----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | ---+ | | |   | | | | | | | | | | | | JOB FUNCTIONS: | | | | | | | | | | | | - Ensures that all construction is performed to the highest quality | | | | | | standards and in accordance with construction specifications. | | | | | | - Read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedule | | s, | | | | specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc.) | | | | | | - Participate in design reviews and ensure that all construction is | | | | | | performed in accordance with the construction documents. | | | | | | - Review shop drawings and product submittals and recommendations in | | a | | | | timely and accurate manner. | | | | | | - Monitor, inspect, document and advise on all projects to include | | | | | | troop labor construction, as required.  | | | | | | - Must be able attend project-specific meetings, prepare, and submit | | | | | | reports of project status and progress. Required Skills Required Experience

REQUIREMENTS: 

To be considered you must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

2+ years' experience working in manufacturing

Compounding experience of 1 year in making formulas

Strong math and reading skills and ability to follow instructions

This position is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, use hands to remove or lift boxes, stretch and reach with arms extended and stoop.

Employees regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Our needs are for first shift with hours from 5A to 4:30P (Monday thru Thursday).

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Lean Six Sigma
• Able to use, facility specific, PLC based process control systems used in the manufacturing process.
