    JOB SUMMARY:

    Perform system analysis, design, programming, documentation, task implementation and program maintenance in a large and diverse user environment within a broad framework of standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing current techniques and methodologies. EDUCATION

    Bachelor''s Degree in computer science or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement. EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience with the .Net framework and Microsoft SQL server. SKILLS Must be proficient in C##-, .Net, MS-SQL development, Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Teamwork, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture, Coaching ENVIRONMENT Works in a business office or clinic environment. HOURS OF WORK Monday through Friday during normal business hours. May be required to attend special events some evenings and weekends, and work overtime as requested. TRAVEL Requires minimal travel. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires little physical activity and is office-based. May be required to occasionally lift items such as supplies of up to 20 lbs. Requires frequent computer use. A professional ergonomic assessment of the workstation is available as requested, and will be provided at least once annually. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Certification - Microsoft Development and Database certification preferred. EXPERIENCE Prefer experience in the healthcare industry. Experience with Scrum and Agile principles. Experience with BI and Data Warehouses. Experience with MySQL. JOB FUNCTIONS Development - Creates programs utilizing current departmental programming techniques and standards; codes and debugs program; coordinates testing and data conversion. Analysis - Analyzes existing or proposed projects and requests to determine the feasibility for technical adaptation; may prepare cost estimates for these proposed projects; documents and presents written reports detailing the analysis performed. Design - Designs systems based on user requirements; detailing procedures to be followed by users; revises and creates departmental forms for data processing applications or manual procedures; prepares system and data flow diagrams; translates problem statements into programming definitions. Documentation - Documents all phases of the analysis, design, programming, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects; creates user documentation for the utilization of on-line systems, reports, procedures, and training materials. Adaptability - Must be able to adapt to new technologies, programming languages as the need arises
