  • Responsibilities

    Candidates will staff Connect2Compete “registration” events.  Duties include interacting with target audiences and handing out promotional material, registering families through online portal, helping approved applicants call clients to activate the service/set up installation.

    SKILLS NEEDED

    Bilingual Spanish preferred. Strong communications skills needed and the ability to use a computer and help people use a computer.  Ability to interact with crowds and talk about Connect2Compete in a friendly, informative way. 

    JOB DUTIES

    ·       Understand program eligibility requirements, components of the program and be able to explain them.

    ·       Hand out flyers promoting the program and direct people to tables for possible registration/qualification.

    ·       At registration table, help families complete the online application for C2C qualification

    ·       Make phone calls to clients call center to help approved customers activate service and set up installation.

    ·       In a courteous manner, interact with event attendees and manage any lines that may form while people are waiting to complete the application process.

    *Must have own transportation to event site.  (Some travel time may be compensated.)
